Wan 2.7
Wan 2.7 Image and Image Pro limits — five strictly validated aspect ratios, and 4K on the Pro tier only.
Wan 2.7 is Alibaba's image family on ListenHub: wan2.7-image and wan2.7-image-pro. Both run on
the shared image endpoints. For the endpoints, request schema, async flow, and error codes, see the
Image Generation overview. This page covers only
what is specific to Wan 2.7.

Wan 2.7 is the strictest family in the catalogue on shape: it validates both size and aspect
ratio against its own allow-list, and the five ratios above are the whole list. 2:3, 3:2,
4:5, 5:4, 21:9 and the four extreme ratios all return 400 with the supported list in the
message. Pick Nano Banana Flash or Seedream when you need a shape outside those five.
4K is text-to-image only
wan2.7-image-pro renders 4K only when the request carries no reference images. Combining
imageSize: "4K" with a non-empty referenceImages array returns 400 with code: 26019 and the
generic message Unsupported aspect ratio for this model — the specific reason is logged
server-side, not returned. Use 2K for reference-guided generation, or remove the reference images to
render at 4K.
wan2.7-image rejects 4K outright, at any reference count, with code: 29003.
Reference images are capped at 9 per request on both models. Exceeding it returns 400 with
Wan2.7 image models support at most 9 reference images.
Pricing
Both models are priced at a fixed credit cost per image size (pricing.mode is fixed) and neither
sets requiresSubscription.
Free quota differs between the two tiers: wan2.7-image has a free-quota resource spendable at 1K
and 2K, while wan2.7-image-pro has no free quota at any size and is always billed in credits.
